i have 3 projects that i am working on at present...the squares pattern is the free pattern highlighted a week ago...there will be 12 squares altogether and i am currently struggling with number 6 so i put it aside...i also substituted the navy blue square with a different pattern because i didn't like the one in the instructions...
the rainbow pattern is a simple hexagonal granny square pattern that is useful to use up scrap yarn...i don't have much leftover yarn but i do have one skein here and one there...so, i chose this pattern...i bought the instructions from Herrschners 2008 national contest winners....
the other project i'm working on is a bit more intricate...it's a greek keys pattern from 'mosaic magic afghans made easy' by lily m. chin...not sure who she's kidding...it's a bit tough to figure out what is being asked in the pattern...long double crochet post stitches....i've wanted to try some of these patterns since i bought the book years ago...this is the year...
